At Hands on Rehab, we use aquatic therapy to encompass the entire body and not just the injured area. It provides an alternative for those patients that cannot tolerate or have not had success with traditional land therapy. The warm water helps to relax muscles and promotes circulation thus increasing blood flow to your body to promote healing. The buoyancy of the water allows the patient to move easier and with greater flexibility than on land. Patients and therapists have discovered that incorporating aquatic therapy into their therapy program shortens overall treatment time. We have multiple aquatic therapy locations throughout Orange County!
